Public Hearing Notice - August 16, 2006
The Village of Campbellsport is proposing to construct a new Department of Public Works building to be located on the grounds of the Waste Water Treatment Plant adjacent to Columbus PARC. The Village has received a not-to-exceed cost estimate of $1,193,450 and will be considering whether to proceed with bidding and construction of the project.
Members of the public are hereby invited to attend this Public Hearing to review and discuss the proposal for the new building. Detailed information about the project will be presented by Dan Gellings of C D Smith, and Phil Twohig, Architect for PTD INC. Attendees will be invited to ask questions and make comments about the proposal.
Immediately following adjournment of the Public Hearing, a meeting of the Campbellsport Village Board of Trustees will be convened to discuss whether to proceed with the project. Joanne Del Ponte has asked to be placed on the agenda for that meeting to request that a Village referendum be held. Any member of the public wishing to comment on the proposal for a referendum is asked to do so during the Public Hearing. Formal consideration by the Board of that request will take place during the meeting following the Public Hearing.
