June 9, 2006 - Village crews install assorted green and flowering shrubs.
The planter's finished - next step - add some plants.
September 13th, 2005: Work continues on the 'Welcome to Campbellsport' sign along Hwy 67. Village crews are seen here assisting local landscaper Gary Seefeldt as they construct a planter around the new sign.
Now all we need is lighting, and a little landscaping... and to cover up those naked ankles.
We're getting closer... Chuck Lichtensteiger and Cary Sabish are seen here donating their time to apply durable Trex to the framework of the new "Welcome" sign.
Village of Campbellsport DPW crew erected the steel framework.
Jeff Rindt of Valley Hydro-Excavation donated his services by using his high-tech equipment to safely avoid nearby utilities when "boring" holes for the sign's legs.
The decorative portions of the sign were created by Guy Rice of Guy Rice Signs, and were based on the official village logo.
