Chicken Permits

Did you know that you can have CHICKENS within the Village of Campbellsport??? Ordinance #192-10 allows Village residents to have up to 6 chickens on their residential property. Roosters are not allowed.

Some things you need to know....

1. A permit is required to keep chickens within Village limits. (See permit application below.)

2. You must provide proof of registration with the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection pursuant to § 95.51, Wis. Stats.

3. Chicken permits are $30 for initial fees. Permit renewals are due by April 1 each year for a fee of $10. A $5 late fee will be added after April 1.
